Lawson also said the Town has a verbal contract for Fourth of July entertainment with If Birds Could Fly and is awaiting signed agreements. Regarding a separate free magic show, Joseph Young asked about a $1,000 sponsorship (he said the minimum acceptable was $750); the Town declined to provide sponsorship funds but offered the venue and staff setup/cleanup.
