City Manager Eric Underwood provided multiple administrative and project updates at the Nov. 20 meeting. He said the City will change the cadence of business licenses so all licenses expire at the end of each calendar year to simplify tracking.
Underwood also reported a grant-funded Regional Economic Development Plan is in draft form, including a North Marion plan and a Donald-specific plan. He said the Fargo arbitration is likely in February, noted an upcoming Planning Commission meeting on Dec. 18 to consider reappointments, said the Donald Café will have second-floor living space, and stated the City is seeking additional funding for Well #3 while trying to complete work with existing funds. Finally, a Shield security email-security guide was provided to commissioners.
