City Recorder Michelle Connor also reported that three different companies inspected hazard trees and that she is pursuing a Marion County grant to assist with tree removal and park improvements.
Council did not specify what the 2nd Street grant would cover in detail nor did the meeting record include terms or restrictions of the private donation; staff indicated the donations and grant applications would support park-related projects and related grant submissions.
