During the consent agenda the board accepted several personnel and athletics items. The board accepted the resignation of Assistant Softball Coach Aubree Ritch and approved cooperative agreements with Imbler for girls' softball (renewal) and boys' baseball (new co-op for 2025). The consent motion also approved an overnight stay for the state FFA convention and accepted the hire of Tanner Owen as high school wrestling assistant coach.
The consent agenda passed unanimously (AYES:5 NOES:0 ABSTAIN:0). The meeting packet includes a resignation email from Aubree Ritch stating, “It is not my wish to be doing this as I love this program ... over the last few days my life has had some unexpected changes and I am needing to relocate,” (email to Athletic Director Kevin Johnson, Jan. 7, 2025). Athletic Director Kevin Johnson’s report noted roster numbers for winter sports: girls basketball 11–1 (ranked #13 statewide), boys basketball 5–7 (ranked #35), and participation counts in wrestling and junior-high programs.
