The board approved Resolution 25‑03, a special funds supplemental budget to align appropriations with updated grant awards and beginning fund balances. Business manager explained the changes increase state revenue by about $91,000 and federal revenue by about $5,000, with corresponding adjustments to beginning fund balances so the total special funds appropriation remains budget‑neutral at the fund level.
Program‑level shifts include increasing Measure 98 appropriations by $1,000, early literacy by $20,000 and SIA by $70,000 while reducing the small high school appropriation by about $10,200; staff said some funds were not required to be spent and therefore could be reallocated. The board closed the supplemental budget hearing and approved the resolution by voice vote.
