City Manager Eric Underwood updated the Donald Planning Commission at the Sept. 25, 2025 meeting on administrative matters including a proposal for Planning Commission training and an infrastructure grant application.
Underwood said he was considering a Planning Commission training taught by the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments (MWVCOG) but noted the cost; commissioners suggested combining the training with the City of Hubbard to split expenses. He also outlined the qualifications and procedures the city follows if a commission seat is vacated.
On infrastructure, Underwood provided a brief status update on the city’s sewer situation and said the city is applying for a $100,000 grant for the Well #3 project. Commissioners discussed shifting meeting dates when the regular fourth-Thursday slot falls on holidays in November and December; if needed, meetings would be held on the third Thursday of those months. The commission adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
