Council reports Home Depot carport installed at water treatment plant to store equipment

Councilor Eric Page told the Jan. 14 work session the city purchased a carport from Home Depot for use at the water treatment plant and that the new building is complete.
"the new building is now completed. The carport has been brought down from the plant. We will be using it to store equipment under cover," Page said. The remark indicated the carport has been moved into place and will serve as covered equipment storage at the WTP.
No purchase price, warranty details, or funding source were provided in the meeting. The item was presented as an informational update; council did not vote on the purchase during the work session.
