County Manager James Shubert explained a proposed annual Senior Center meals contract with the Southern Georgia Regional Commission to provide meals for senior citizens. Shubert said there would be a subcontract with McKinney Community Medical Center to deliver meals and that funding would be provided through a grant with a Federal/State/Local split. When commissioners asked how long the service had been in place Shubert said he was not sure but that it had been "as long as he could remember." The item was added to the regular meeting agenda for formal approval.
