Superintendent Daniel Larson told the board that current enrollment stands at 241 students and that two new families (two children from Tower City and four from Fingal) recently moved into the district; the preschool program currently enrolls nine students. He said locker room repairs and classroom wall fixes are scheduled to finish over the summer.
Larson said the district will switch its Learning Management System from Canvas to Infinite Campus and will hold a Registration Help Day on August 12 (10 a.m.–7 p.m.) to assist families with online registration. He also thanked staff who applied for a Community Betterment Grant; the district secured $4,700 to add bolts into classroom floors to secure doors during lockdown situations.
