The Ware County Commission approved a request to replace existing window tint and apply tint to remaining windows at the Waycross–Ware County Airport at a cost of $7,284.00 to be performed by Crystal's Tint Shop, LLC. Commissioner Timmy Lucas moved the approval and the roll-call vote recorded four ayes with Commissioner Jon Tindall absent.
Commissioner Leonard Burse clarified that the cost would come from airport-generated funds and not the county's general operating funds; Commissioner Barry Cox added that the airport pays its own way. The minutes record no further debate or alternative funding arrangements.
