Business Manager Ponto updated the committee on Bartlett High School construction and furnishing progress, saying surplus furniture has been claimed or disposed of and that new furniture deliveries are about two‑thirds complete. A designer is inspecting incoming furniture and administration is keeping contingency funds to address gaps between the original design and the installed pieces. Ponto said a room review will take place in August to identify any remaining items.
Ponto described ongoing construction work: metal roof panels and fascia installation at the penthouse, overhead mechanicals on the second floor, slab replacement preparations on the first floor, and site work including a binding coat on the bus loop. She said walkways around campus will be prioritized while summer school is in session and that move‑in is about four to five months away. The business manager added that punch‑list items are being tracked and that she is pleased with the overall progress.
