The council voted to approve a letter of support for a CPW motorized grant application submitted by the BLM White River Field Office. Staff said the town has supported the office's grant submissions in prior years and that the grant would fund two to three seasonal park rangers, UTVs, tools, fuel and maintenance to assist with OHV training, signage and field work.
Councilors described the endorsement as worthwhile and moved to authorize the letter of support. The motion carried in a voice vote with no further conditions noted.
