The Rangely Town Council on Sept. 23 approved a set of routine agenda items, including the Sept. 9 minutes and the town's August 2025 financial statement. The minutes were approved after a motion by Tim Weber and a second by Todd Bank; the motion carried with the council voting "Aye."
At the same meeting the council approved the renewal of the liquor license for Pinion Tree Liquors, Inc. and approved an application to the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (Division of Housing) for a $50,000 predevelopment grant for the Rangely Duplex project. The council also adopted a letter authorizing Interim Town Manager Lisa Perring to be the signature authority for that grant application and agreement. The motions to approve those items were taken in sequence and recorded as carried by the council.
