City attorney authorized to seek court reconsideration in Charles Scott litigation; strong-letter to school district motion rescinded

Aldermen Nicholas Holliday, Jeremy Belle and John Cain voted "Aye"; Alderwoman Rhonda Moore was not present to vote.
Separately, Alderman John Cain moved for the city attorney to deliver a "Strong Letter" to the Aberdeen Separate School District inquiring about delinquent contract monies owed to the city; the motion received no second, no vote was taken and Alderman Cain later rescinded the motion. The minutes record the attempted motion and its rescission but do not record a board directive to the attorney regarding the school district debt.
