The Village of Sugar Grove voted July 7 to approve an amendment to the Hannaford Farm annexation agreement for Lot 114, releasing the lot owners from future improvement obligations after they paid a fee in lieu of development. "The owners, Greg and Deborah Becker, have paid the fee-in-lieu," Danny Merriam told trustees during discussion.
The board voted on the ordinance after a brief presentation by Merriam and roll call. The chair announced, "The ayes have it," and the ordinance to amend the annexation agreement for Lot 114 was approved. Trustees asked staff to record the required release documents prepared by village attorneys so the release can be filed.
