Veteran Services Officer Nick Pagragan asked the commissioners to increase the Veteran Services Office staffing from part-time to full-time (40 hours per week) and provided supporting data to justify expanded office hours and staff availability. Commissioner President Chad A. Blessinger agreed to meet with Pagragan on July 7, 2026, to discuss options and the board reached consensus to decide at the next meeting.
John Kaltenbacher, a Town of Holland board member, later thanked the county for purchasing the Holland Dumpster Site and explicitly voiced support for the VSO being open full-time. The board did not take immediate action to change staffing levels at the meeting.
