Staff member emphasized collecting service-needs data so the trust fund can tailor assistance: "Understand what people desire in terms of assistance — home improvement, housing assistance, or barriers they need to overcome," and suggested the committee combine shorter broad surveys with deeper, qualitative conversations to supplement market studies.
The Chair said she will draft proposed survey questions and distribution strategies and return options to the committee at the August meeting.
