The Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board convened Dec. 27, 2021 at 5:57 p.m. at the Humboldt Community Center. The board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Bob Zirpel seconded by Brady Gaddis, and then approved the Nov. 22, 2021 regular-session minutes on a motion by Zirpel seconded by Julian Gambs; both actions passed by unanimous voice votes of the four members present.
The board recorded several substantive items: a public comment from Nolan Whiting asking the building inspector to provide a written confirmation that the board is operating under the 2018 IBC; a corrective-motion to have poles fixed and to reissue Charles Jacobsen's car/camper port permit at no extra cost; and a motion to recommend Ordinance #IBC -12-27-2021 to the Town Board to adopt the 2021 IBC. The Jarding replat was continued pending additional setback information requested from the applicants. The board adjourned at 6:45 p.m.; the next scheduled meeting is Jan. 24, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
