President Ritchy Griepp called the meeting to order on Feb. 23, 2026, and the board moved to approve a five-year extension of the Verizon tower lease. The motion to approve the Verizon agreement was made by Ritchy Griepp and seconded by Theresa Muth; all members present voted aye. The approval extends the existing tower lease by an additional five years.
The board also accepted the Planning and Zoning Board's recommendation to approve a building permit for Vertical Bridge (Verizon Wireless) to add three additional antennas to the existing tower. The motion to approve the Vertical Bridge permit was made by Theresa Muth and seconded by Amber Bailey-Froke; the roll call vote was unanimous. The minutes record the permit as a Planning and Zoning recommendation and do not list conditions or a permit number.
