Prairie County approves vouchers, accepts investment authorization and signs contracts

At its June 11 meeting, the Prairie County Board of Commissioners approved vouchers and journal adjustments presented by Deputy Clerk & Recorder Aria Walters. Recorded voucher amounts included Prairie County Voucher #1149 for $58,362.02, #1150 for $14,444.98, #1148 for $9,943.90, #1146 for $32,211.34, and #1147 for $3,611.68. Commissioner Devlin's records-retention motion under Montana Code 7-5-2132 also passed.
County Treasurer Garrett Lapp presented a treasurer report and investment authorization; the board voted to accept the June Investment Authorization. Commissioners reviewed Department of Revenue adjustments — including changes tied to cattle reporting and mobile home parks — that will result in a refund of $61.91. Commissioner Devlin signed a modification of service contract with Action for Eastern Montana (Contract #2026-001-05). Earlier in the morning Commissioner Devlin signed an Eastern Montana Drug Task Force Memorandum of Understanding for Fiscal Year 2027.
