Commissioner Christine Keltner moved to change the canvas sheet from 52 to 51 for Precinct 3 to match the tally book; Commissioner Dennis Teske seconded the motion and it passed. Later, Commissioner Teske moved to accept the corrected canvas and the board again voted to approve the canvass. According to the minutes, the county contacted the Secretary of State, which advised that the one-vote discrepancy would not change the race outcome and left recount consideration to the canvass board. The motions were recorded as passing with the standard board assent of "all in favor."
