The Humboldt Town Board on April 13 approved routine business and several operational items, including three malt beverage licenses and material purchases for park infrastructure.
President Ritchy Griepp opened the meeting and the board approved the agenda and March 23 minutes. The board approved malt beverage licenses for Big J’s Roadhouse and Friendly’s Fuel Stop by unanimous votes. The board approved a license for Gangster Casino with one abstention from Kelly O’Gorman and the remaining members voting aye. The board also approved purchasing materials and supplies to build 12 picnic tables after Public Works estimated lumber and frame costs at about $150 per table.
Assistant Finance Officer Isabel Hanisch presented the claims list totaling $54,966.98; March payroll totaled $31,591.25. The board approved bills, financials and payroll (motion by Kelly O’Gorman, second by Theresa Muth). The board set its next meeting for April 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Humboldt Community Center.
