The Humboldt Town Board approved a malt-beverage license for the Canaries game on May 10, 2026, by unanimous vote. The board also approved a malt-beverage license for Big J’s Pink Ladies Ribfest scheduled for Sept. 12, 2026, and voted to waive the licensing fee for that fundraiser; the fee-waiver motion passed with Theresa Muth abstaining and all other members voting aye.
Board members noted the organizer’s fundraiser status during the parks report and indicated a city representative would try to attend the Big J’s Pink Ladies meeting on April 7 to coordinate the event and a possible Party in the Park. No further conditions on the licenses were recorded in the minutes.
