Natural Gas Board president reports staff training and certifications

Sam Eastlick, president of the Natural Gas Board, briefed the Humboldt City Board on March 9 about recent training activity: both the Natural Gas Manager and the Utility Supervisor have been participating in required natural-gas training and were certified in fusion last Friday. Eastlick also said the Natural Gas Manager will train and test to become certified in sewer treatment to serve as a backup for the Utility Supervisor.
Eastlick attended the meeting to relay those operational staffing and training matters and left at 7:10 p.m. The updates were presented during the open public discussion portion after agenda and minutes approval.
