During a short public‑comment period before the vote, resident Todd Greenberg criticized the council’s campaign communications, saying the town presented a “false narrative” about what was at stake in June’s vote and specifically asserting that “that false narrative was that 1,300,000 was at stake if it didn't pass in June.” The council proceeded with the formal certification after hearing comments and recorded the vote as unanimous in favor of adoption.
The certification resolves the administrative step necessary to finalize the election record and places the adopted resolution in the town’s official minutes and files. No additional action on the measure was required at the meeting.
