During the public comment period J.D. Myers, identified as Ag Relations for Summit Carbon Solutions, informed the board the company is in preliminary planning for a carbon pipeline that would traverse Nance County near Fullerton. Myers said the firm is "in the early stages of preparing for a carbon pipeline to run north and south through Nance County a few miles west of Fullerton" and that Summit Carbon Solutions plans to return to brief the board formally at a later date.
Board members did not take action on the project at the July 14 meeting; this was an informational comment to notify the board that a private-sector representative intends to seek future engagement. No project route, permits, landowner agreements or timeline were presented at this session.
