The Board of Equalization of Nance County met July 14, 2026 in the Supervisor's Room at the Nance County Courthouse in Fullerton. Chairman Timothy C. Cornwell opened the session at 1:00 PM and recorded members present (Ralph Horacek, Darren Nelson, Steve Crouse, Andy Ditter and Scott Russell) and absent (Robert Voichoskie). County Clerk Adrian F. Chlopek noted that notice of the meeting had been published on June 8, 2026 in the Nance County Journal and the Genoa Leader Times and that acknowledgments of receipt are on file in the clerk's office.
Board member Scott Russell moved, and Darren Nelson seconded, to approve the meeting agenda; Russell then moved and Andy Ditter seconded to approve the minutes of the June 23, 2026 meeting. The minutes record those motions in the meeting record. "Moved by Russell and seconded by Nelson to approve the agenda," the minutes state, followed by the minutes-approval motion. The meeting proceeded to consideration of assessment records and protest hearings.
