Clean Energy Task Force asks committee for past energy bills to benchmark new 9-1-1 center

During public comment, the Clean Energy Task Force representative (S5) asked the committee to share one-to-two years of historical energy bills for the existing station so the task force can benchmark existing consumption against the new building and support the town's clean-energy goals.
Representative said the data would help compare the old facility to the new design and that the town's initiative is to reduce energy consumption and reach cleaner-energy goals. Director (S2) agreed to provide the bills but noted the available accounts are under the fire department umbrella and will include firehouse loads (air compressors, LED lighting, apparatus equipment) so the figures will be skewed and not a direct readout for a standalone dispatch center. Presenter (S3) described energy use intensity (EUI) metrics and said they may not map neatly to this building type because standalone dispatch centers are rare and energy-intense due to communications infrastructure.
The committee agreed staff would supply available billing data before the next review so the task force can begin comparative benchmarking.
