Kirksey principal Jeremy Yates named a state master principal; board honors him

Bradley Weber, director of the Arkansas Leadership Academy, presented a master principal designation to Jeremy Yates in recognition of sustained leadership at Kirksey. Weber said the state program—running since 2001—has designated only 43 master principals prior to this year and that Yates completed a multi‑year professional development sequence including a site visit. "So excited this evening to add Jeremy Yates as a designated principal in the state of Arkansas," Weber said.
Yates thanked his staff and the district, saying the work is a team effort and describing Kirksey as a place he would not want to work anywhere else. Board members and attendees took photos and offered congratulations. Administration noted the designation recognizes top‑quartile student growth and thorough onsite evaluation by the Arkansas Leadership Academy.
