Contractor outlines phased lane closures for bridge deck sealing; board approves

"My name is Zach Dean with Milestone Contractors," he said, and described a phased approach in which outside lanes would be closed while traffic ran on the inside, then crews would flip to close the inside lanes. He said work was "starting on Monday, the 27th, running through Saturday with the intent of hopefully getting done by Friday." The board approved the lane closures for maintenance July 27 through Aug. 1 with a motion and unanimous voice vote.
The contractor listed the bridges affected and emphasized the phased lane restrictions are designed to maintain traffic flow during the work. No overnight closures or specific detour plans were recorded in the public minutes; staff indicated they would coordinate details.
