Council voted to approve the Harvest Valley Farmers Market special-event permit scheduled for Aug. 8, 2026. Staff told the council they have been tracking the market's power use and that it is within the town’s monthly usage average. "We have a running total of it... it's like 43¢ a kilowatt, but don't put me on that because I'm not quite for sure," a staff speaker said while explaining energy tracking.
Council had no objection to the permit and noted ongoing ordinance review for signage and other market-related rules; the item was approved by motion and second with no further public objections recorded.
