Hayward said she would waive two months of probation supervision fees in light of the defendant's representations about payment plans and allowed phone-and-mail reporting for out-of-state probation supervision. Owens told the court the gun was in a bag he mistakenly carried and that he was surprised when TSA found it. "I accidentally grabbed the wrong bag," he said. The court directed Owens to work with probation staff in a breakout room to complete required steps.
