Recreation Director Meridith McFarland reported that preparation for Holley Hall renovation continues and that the Recreation Department expects to be fully out of Holley Hall by March 6. She said the Thompson building office is nearly ready for occupancy and that a storage container will arrive Thursday to support the move and storage of the historical stage curtain.
McFarland told the board that all camps are currently full and there are many names on the wait list; staff plan to add more camps where possible to meet demand. She also praised the Recreation Department staff and noted they are working well together during the transition.
The board received the update as part of the Department Head roundtable; no formal action was taken at the meeting regarding Holley Hall funding or scheduling beyond the reported timelines.
