Committee approves March minutes, amends agenda for MRWA session and adjourns

At the start of the April 10, 2026 meeting, Trustee Lockhart moved and Trustee Trucks seconded a motion to approve the March 6, 2026 minutes as presented; the motion carried. Village Manager Dan Faulkner recommended opening a special meeting for the Michigan Rural Water Association rate study and deferring remaining agenda items; the committee approved the amended agenda on a motion by Lockhart and second by Trucks.
After the MRWA presentation and subsequent discussion, Lockhart moved and Trucks seconded to close the special meeting and return to the regular meeting; the motion carried and the special session concluded at 11:12 a.m. The committee then moved to adjourn (motion by Lockhart, second by Trucks) and adjourned at 11:15 a.m. The next scheduled meeting is May 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
