Contractor begins vegetation removal on NWRA 33; board to re-inspect disputed tree

The board added an action item April 15 regarding the Environmental Solutions Florida, Inc. (ESF) contract to remove vegetation on NWRA 33; the contract was executed and vegetation removal is underway, District Manager Chuck Adams reported.
Ms. Kathleen Lonergan raised a separate resident complaint about a partially dead oak cited as behind 18906 Rolling Hills Loop. District Engineer Kurt Heath’s initial inspection concluded the oak is actually on another resident’s parcel behind 11906 Heritage Pointe Drive and not within a CDD easement; Mr. Heath said he will inspect the area again. "Mr. Heath’s initial report concluded that the tree is not the CDD’s responsibility," the minutes record.
Mr. Heath also reported coordination with staff on repairs and inspections—including drainage inlet repairs, curb repair and follow-up inspections related to NWRA 33 cleanup—saying he will coordinate further once he reinspects the tree and the ESF contractor completes removal work at Scenic Hills.
