The Carlisle City Council approved a broad consent agenda in a single motion that cleared multiple purchases, contracts and personnel actions.
The motion by Andrya Carter, seconded by Cataldo, passed on a 4-0 roll-call vote. Items approved included payment of bills totaling $417,616.83; approval of a temporary liquor license for the Watering Hole (Carlisle Hometown Pride pool party) subject to required documentation; Task Order 26-01 with Strand Associates for School Street Reconstruction Phase 3 administration services not to exceed $271,000; Pay Application #10 for Carlisle Public Library Renovation to DDVI Inc. not to exceed $221,894.76; hiring Joshua Harding as a part-time firefighter/paramedic at $19.54 per hour; and the appointment of Lauren Gardner as City Clerk via Resolution 20260713001.
The consent agenda also authorized transfers under Resolution 20260713002 to fund a joint fuel depot project per a 28E agreement with Carlisle Community School District, and approved purchases including a TAPCO stand-alone message sign (up to $10,386.66) and TAPCO message sign trailer (up to $18,954.40), several paving and asphalt quotes, and a change order deduction of $132,150.56 for School Street Rehabilitation – Phase 3.
Council took no separate roll-call votes on individual consent items during the meeting record; all were adopted together under the consent motion.
