Board takes first readings on student activity account and donations policies

At the April 1 meeting the board reviewed two additional policies: E4 (Student Activity Account Policy) and E10 (Donations). Business and Operations Manager George Trieb explained the recommended change to E10 and walked the board through scenarios that informed the proposed language.
Director Laurie Kigonya moved to approve the first readings of E4 and E10; the motion passed unanimously. Board discussion focused on practical scenarios where the policies would apply; staff will incorporate the recommended language and return the policies for further review.
