Residents seek permission for fundraiser, planting project and note planned roof work; board grants permissions

During the Citizen’s Concerns portion of the May 5 meeting, Sexton Susan LaMadeleine relayed several requests. She said Brenda Regan would like to use Folsom Common for a "Cupcake For A Cause" fundraiser on May 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or until sold out; the board gave consensus permission. Susan LaMadeleine also said Regan requested to plant flowers with schoolchildren across from Town Hall on June 12, 2026, which the board also approved.
Raquel Watkins (Main Street) informed the board she will replace her roof in the near future and "assured the Board that the work would be done safely and that any debris would be picked up immediately." The board also allowed resident Doug Bunnell to trim and cut trees and brush on a Class 4 section of Shadow Lake Road that connects to Grist Mill Pit Road. These items were handled by consensus; no formal vote was recorded in the minutes.
