Selectboard authorizes tax-sale attorney, issues town credit card for fire chief

At the June 2 meeting the Concord Selectboard authorized Town Treasurer Audra Girouard to retain an attorney to conduct a tax sale and acknowledged the annual Financial Management Questionnaire (Proper Use of Public Funds). Treasurer Audra Girouard presented April and May warrants and requested the authorizations; Jim Gochie moved to authorize the tax-sale attorney and Denis LaMadeleine seconded. The motions passed 5-0.
The board also voted 5-0 to issue a town credit card to the Fire Chief with a $2,500 limit, and the treasurer said her assistant will be leaving and the vacancy will be advertised. These actions were recorded in the meeting minutes and will be implemented by the Treasurer's office.
