Aleta Mitchell of Mitchell Road asked the Selectboard to lower the posted speed limit on Mitchell Road from 35 mph to 25 mph and requested additional culverts.
Road Commissioner Dane Thorgalsen responded that 35 mph is the lowest speed the town can set without a traffic study performed by the Sheriff’s Department; Susan LaMadeleine said she will contact the Sheriff’s Department to learn how to obtain a study and Dane T. said he would look into culvert needs.
