Selectboard approves $35,000 annual contract with Sheriff’s Department

Concord’s Selectboard unanimously approved the annual $35,000 law-enforcement services contract with the Sheriff’s Department and authorized the chair to sign the agreement.
The Concord Selectboard on July 7 accepted the annual law-enforcement services contract with the county Sheriff’s Department for $35,000 and authorized Chairman Jason Payeur to sign the agreement.
Susan LaMadeleine presented the contract, noting there were no changes from the previous year. George Morehouse moved to accept the contract in the amount of $35,000; Jim Gochie seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The board then separately authorized Chairman Jason Payeur to sign the contract (motion also passed 5-0).
