During the policy agenda the clerk read three separate ordinances for first reading: an amendment to municipal facilities, amendments to selected sections of the land development ordinance addressing the tree committee, tree permits and tree protection, and amendments to leisure and recreation districts.
Each ordinance was moved and seconded and recorded as a first reading. Councilmembers asked procedural questions but did not take final votes on adoption; by statute ordinances require subsequent readings before final action. Staff will return with any required edits and additional information for future readings.
