During the regular meeting the Dickinson County Commission recessed into executive session twice. The first executive session was for privileged attorney–client discussion with special counsel regarding allegations of discrimination filed with the U.S. Department of Labor; the chair cited KSA 75‑4319(b)(2) to justify the closed session. The board resumed open session at the announced time.
Later the board recessed a second time for 15 minutes to discuss qualifications of three applicants for county positions under KSA 75‑4319(b)(1), with the county administrator and director of human resources present. The commission returned to open session at noon and then adjourned the meeting.
Provenance: first executive-session motion at SEG 1935 and return to open session at SEG 1970; second executive-session motion at SEG 1985 and return/adjournment at SEG 2025–SEG 2038.
