Committee hears mixed progress on hangar work; door now operating but insulation and punch list remain

Project staff reported that the door-closing mechanism is functioning by design and the remaining work centers on punch-list items and insulating the new structure. "The door closing mechanism by the design is working, so they did get it functioned last week," the chair reported, and a supplier in the field verified the door operation.
However, staff and the committee said they have not been getting consistent updates from the contractor on punch-list completion and final closure of work items. Fuel operations were also affected temporarily after a phone-line vendor change disabled the credit-card reader on a fuel pump; until service is restored, fueling must be done by truck or manual means.
