The resolution authorizes the Mayor and Borough Clerk to execute the amendment and states all other terms of the original agreement remain in effect. The amendment text included in the meeting materials states: "Effective May 1, 2026, Butler shall no longer provide meter reading services" and specifies that Bloomingdale will provide meter readings going forward.
The change was approved by motion (Moved: Piccirillo; Second: Calvi) with Aye votes recorded from Councilmembers Calvi, Guzman, MacDonald and Piccirillo; Councilman Meier and Council President Verdonik were absent. The amendment takes effect immediately per the resolution language.
