Board approves omnibus agenda including contracts, grants and personnel items; two abstentions recorded
Summary

At the June 23 meeting the board moved to accept a bundled set of agenda items that covered administrative reports, policy revisions, contracts, RFP awards and personnel matters. The list read into the record included A1–A13 (administrative items), B1–B18 (financial and contract approvals), C1–C7 (curriculum and grants including an FAA aircraft pilot workforce development grant application and High Impact Tutoring summer grant items) and P1–P5 (personnel actions).
The omnibus motion was made and seconded and the board conducted a roll-call vote. The motion carried. Clerk roll-call notes show two abstentions on personnel items: one board member abstained from item P-1A because a relative works in the district; a second member abstained from P-02B due to a personal relationship. The clerk recorded 'motion carries' after the roll call.
The board also accepted monthly warrants and payrolls and authorized contract awards and procurement through state and cooperative purchasing programs for FY2027 as listed in the motion. No individual contracts were discussed at length during the public meeting; matters were accepted as part of the consent/omnibus action.
