City Attorney Jered Reid explained the change as an alignment with the committee’s intended reporting practice: "this resolution helps align with how the committee is intended to report to the City Manager, and not the Council." Railroad Manager Matt Weiderholt asked for clarification about how the committee operates under the new structure. Councilor Janet Hutchison moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
The change adjusts internal reporting lines; staff were asked to clarify committee operations under the new reporting arrangement.
