The Redmond SD 2J Board of Directors voted unanimously to rescind its March 18, 2026 decision to award the Insurance Agent of Record contract after district staff identified an internal evaluation oversight. Director Ashley Proctor moved the rescission, saying the action was necessary because one timely proposal “was not included in the initial review and evaluation.” Director Keri Lopez seconded the motion and the vote carried 5-0.
District staff told the Board they would instruct the selection committee to review all timely submitted proposals using the identical selection criteria and scoring matrix and then present a schedule for evaluations and interviews, if needed, to all vendors. The district cited Notice P09002-1016-21 in materials accompanying the item. No new award was announced at the meeting; the district will resume the procurement process after re-evaluation.
