Planning Director Joshua Smith reported on June 16 that the City Council passed an ordinance authorizing the city's participation in the State's Middle Income Revolving Loan Fund (MIRL). He did not provide details of the ordinance text at the meeting but noted Council approval of participation.
Smith also told commissioners that public hearings are scheduled for July 21 on a proposal for a real estate office in a residential zone on Deer Street and on a new subdivision in the Ironhorse area. He said the proposed Ironhorse subdivision would include 88 lots and some commercial development as envisioned in the Ironhorse outline development plan; no final approvals were taken at the June 16 meeting.
