At the start of the meeting the mayor reviewed upcoming community events for residents. The mayor named National Night Out for Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 4–7 p.m., the Murrysville Farmers Market (running Thursdays, June 4 to Sept. 24, 3–7 p.m. at Sardis Road near Murrysville Medical), and a Concert in the Park on July 28 featuring local bands and Yellow Bridge Brewing Company.
Chief Administrator Mike corrected a previously stated fireworks date and confirmed the Marisol concert will be held Friday, Aug. 7; he said all event information is available on the Murrysville recreation website. Council encouraged public attendance at parks programming and noted that staff will continue to post event details online.
